Every operation, tradition and method of work in a Scout Troop should stand up to the cold light of reason. If it does not achieve the promise of scouting it has to go.

If something is being done the wrong way because it is more convenient than the right way fix it without delay.

Never assume that "we've always done it that way" it is the right way.
